Ruara is the first pan-Papuan deployment of Strata. It is preparing for closed beta: one shared public square for everyday conversation, community activity, and knowledge connected to place.

The first deployment brings people into one instance. Regional views, topics, and moderated spaces help people find relevant conversations without a separate account for every region.

Communities can choose spaces where conversation takes place in their own Indigenous languages. That makes local languages part of everyday digital participation and, where communities agree, can support useful language resources.

Language text and recordings remain under community ownership and stewardship. Designated custodians, including dewan adat where appropriate, define access and permitted reuse. Joining a discussion does not by itself permit research or model training; those uses require a separate community agreement and participant consent.

The planned Wiki connects histories, languages, environmental records, and research with their sources. Different accounts and corrections stay visible, while sensitive material retains its own conditions.

Aksara integrations are optional. Participating organisations can choose to publish reviewed reports, events, or findings without opening their internal memory to the public platform.

Ruara will help us test Strata in a working community: participation, moderation, language spaces, and reviewed knowledge. No public launch date or evaluated community outcome is announced here.
